Book Talk with Arthur Horwitz - Author of "Dual Identites: Living in Meier's Shadow"

    Wednesday, July 29, 2026; 6:30PM - 8:30PM

A photograph. A hidden truth. A lifetime of responsibility. Arthur Horwitz, the son of a Holocaust survivor, grew up hearing stories of loss and resilience. His powerful new memoir explores inherited trauma, identity, and healing. Join 3G Michigan and local author, Arthur Horwitz, in discussion with his daughter, Stephanie Horwitz Reuveni, for a thoughtful Round Table Discussion about the lived experiences of growing up with a survivor parent. This Round Table Discussion is a space for 2Gs and 3Gs to come to share, listen, and build community with others who truly understand.

Arthur Horwitz is a nationally respected journalist, publisher, and civic leader. His career has been recognized through his induction into the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame, the establishment of the Arthur M. Horwitz Collection at the University of Michigan, and his designation as publisher emeritus of the Detroit Jewish News, where he served as publisher and executive editor for over thirty years.

The event location will be shared with event registrants prior to the event.
