We are a small organization with a big mission.
3GMichigan was formed in 2024 as an affiliate group of Living Links. Our mission is to engage descendants of Holocaust survivors in Michigan to create a supportive community, educate future generations through our families’ stories, and empower our community to take a stand against antisemitism and discrimination.
Engage
We provide a supportive community for the descendants of survivors and their families by hosting diverse programs such as discussion groups, book clubs, Shabbat dinners and Jewish Cultural events.
Educate
We ensure that future generations will hear actual stories of our grandparents’ survival and that others can experience the human face of the Holocaust, as well as understand its details and its place in history. We provide the legacy, testimony and context for how this event is viewed and discussed today by sharing our family stories in schools through the Living Links Speaker Training Program.
Empower
With the rise in antisemitism and discrimination against many groups, 3GMI expects that their work and voice can make a meaningful difference in Michigan and beyond.
